Literary Facts

After using all the blanks as semi-colons, his friends finally vowed to never play Scrabble with e.e. cummings again.

MISFITS

There are lots of problems with this drawing, but I started it a long time ago, forgot about it, and felt compelled to finish it tonight... so, here we are.

...you killed my father...

Princess Bride Has been in heavy rotation on HBO lately, and I've watched just about every time it's been on.

My markers crapped out on this one...

Westorostock

I should be working on a Woodstock-based drawing for a friend, but I did this instead :P

I may have to go back an do a more professional version of this, because I think it would make a good t-shirt.

Westoros Shore

Daario Naharis,
the NJ Shore character of Westoros

In a book about dragons and magic, the thing I found least believable was the idea of a queen loving this jackass.  To be fair, I've never felt that any of Daenerys' relationships were believable, but at least her love for Drogo could be written off as Stockholm Syndrome.  But this guy?  Srsly?

patent pending

I should do text in photoShop, but since this is the first time I've sat down in front of a drawing apparatus in months, I'll be easy on myself.

I've been too busy to post or to draw much lately, so here's a quick (old) sketch for a strip about how I think the robopocalypse will begin.

Our Valued Friends

Abandoned Premises # 3 (or How To Copy Another Webcomic)

After being asked how long he was in the bathroom...

This "abandoned premise" is an homage to another webcomic Our Valued Customers, which is rather good.

The Haircut

So, I'm tired of how depressive my blog posts have become, hopefully this will be the last one and I'll change the title to "hugs and apologies" or something.  BUT this is in fact the first time I posted a comic on a Wednesday like I said I would...

Anyways... comic... I shave my head all the time, and this is almost always the reason why.

heh

I still need to learn blogger, because I want the comics to be larger on the main page, or at least make it so you don't have to click-through just to see the damn things; is that even possible?

Ugh, Idk.  Comic, above, enjoy or hate, I read too much Harvey Pekar when I drew it.  Whatever.

in progress comic...

I have been trying to draw better, but I need to learn how to draw faster... This is an in-progress strip I'm working on, that I'm having problems finishing.  It's not that I don't know how to finish it, but motivation is tough sometimes, especially for gag comics.  If I drew faster, I wouldn't have these worries in the middle of a drawing!

Anyways... she says "you should make a comic about cats!" and he says, "yeah, maybe"
I'll finisht this one and flesh out the dialogue, but not tonight. Probably not tomorrow either,

A/S/L?... Great Wyrm / M / Greyhawk

More Old Comics...

The problem with depression, is you find yourself going through a lot of false starts...

Here's another series of comics I started years ago... like, almost a decade ago.  I was never really intending on posting stuff THIS old, but I ran across these 3 while looking at my old "work" and was really surprised at the drawing style and the first appearance of a Batman mug (which I draw in almost all my comics I guess).

And a two parter after the break...

quick drawing at work

Some lady kept saying "mitten" when she meant "minute" and I couldn't get this out of my head.

Old Comics

This series "Hamlet & Kyloe" about a ghost in a bedsheet and a snail, doesn't really fit with my "Abandoned Premises" series, as I actually thought I might continue it as a running strip when I started it about 3 years ago... but alas, I lost interest and finished only 6 or so.  Presented here are #2-6 (#1 is too awful looking to post, but I kinda like the way the art progressed in the rest of them.

#2 - Four and twenty tailors, went to kill a snail...

Four more after the break...

I have not been sleeping well.  I blame the most depressing piece of "furniture" in my bedroom.

Abandoned Premises, #2

Another abandoned webcomic premise.  Technically they're roommates, but I thought this title flowed a bit better.
